FREEHITZ
Every once in a while you come across something amazing on the internet that you think will be a new trend. Well, we have no way of seeing into the future and be 100% certain that this is going to be a new trend, however I cannot see it not becoming one.
When I first saw this software I couldn’t believe that this was even possible and if it was possible (which by now I am certain it is since we use it), how come noone did it before? Is it even legal? Why on earth didn’t we come up with the idea in the first place?
That intro might have made you curious enough, so let me get to the point; Anyone who will ever read this blogpost will have built at least one website in his/her life. I’ll explain, whenever We design a website we want to give the visitors an experience that will make them want to either read more, sign up to something or order and pay online for a product or service. We do our best to use simple but high quality graphics design, add interesting content meanwhile try not to over complicate the processes thus making it easier for the user to do what we want them to do. But let’s face it this is pretty much based on a few years experience and huge amounts of GUESSWORK. Testing and tweaking is required and we spend several months and lots of expensive traffic for such ever so important testing and tweaking processes.
The fact of the matter is that We can send all the traffic in the world to a website but if it is not converting or if it is improperly structured or in some cases even the contact form doesn’t work… we are wasting both time and money.
So we test and tweak by guessing and looking at Google Analytics charts. There are services available for several thousands of dollars for web visitor eye tracking and then of course we can hire online marketing consultants who effectively do the same we do, which is: guessing and telling us to test and tweak.
We can install a small piece of software on the PC, a tiny script in the website footer and then click and sit behind each of our website visitor and watch them browsing through our website in real time. Watch their mouse movements, see how they scroll the site AND we can finally understand at which point do they leave our website.
It will also record each visit session so we can watch these visit sessions back later. There are numerous other features like Google Maps integration and search keyword reporting etc… but these features we can find in other software too. The software is called freehitz and it is unique for its REAL TIME feature.
How much more exciting can online business get? Imagine when you launch a new Adwords campaign while knowing each click costs you $10!!! It’s like watching TV, you can see your site visitors on your PC.
This software will save us at least a month in testing and tweaking.
